38.5K Mouse Array
MI is now offering pre-arrayed slides based on the Illumina MEEBO (Mouse Exonic Evidence Based Oligonucleotide) Set. Under license from Oxford Gene Technology and with MI's own proprietary arraying technology, these 38,467 probes have been precision arrayed onto a single 1" x 3" standard-size slide. MI also employs a proprietary slide chemistry and buffer combination offering high DNA-binding capacity, deposition uniformity and stability. The new 38.5K Mouse Arrays contain 35,302 70mer oligonucleotide probes largely derived from constitutively expressed exons and allow interrogation of nearly 25,000 mouse genes and alternative splice products. In addition, the mouse genome arrays also include 3,482 controls (Mouse Array Data Sheet). The probes on these arrays have been Tm normalized and are designed to minimize cross-hybridization and secondary structure. Included with each order of arrays are detailed quality control production data, an optimized sample labeling/hybridization protocol, and a CD containing annotation and array design data. MI's attention to detail and quality control verification of every production lot insures dependable product consistency between production lots and experiments. 29K Rat Array
MI's new 29K Rat Arrays contain 26,962 oligonucleotide probes drawn from the Ensembl Rat Database Version v19.3b.2 (http://www.ensembl.org) and the Rat Genome Project, plus 2469 positive/negative and spiking controls. Under license from Oxford Gene Technology and with MI's own proprietary arraying technology, a total of 29,431 rat probes and controls have been precision arrayed onto a single 1" x 3" standard-size slide. MI also employs a proprietary slide chemistry and buffer combination offering high DNA-binding capacity, deposition uniformity and stability. This set of oligo probes consists of predominately 70mers and allows for the interrogation of over 22,000 rat genes (Rat Gene List). The probes on these arrays have been Tm normalized and optimized to minimize cross-hybridization and secondary structure. Included with each order of arrays are detailed quality control production data, an optimized sample labeling/hybridization protocol, and a CD containing annotation and array design data.
